In the free version, the program supports 100 participants and up to 40 continuous minutes of meeting time, and it can be upgraded to increase participants to a maximum of 1,000. Cisco Webex packages come in three options as follows: Web Meetings, suited mainly to con-call meetings, which can share the screen, annotate the screen or record the meeting; Webex Training, which has the same basic features as Webex Meetings but supports up to 1,000 participants, suited to running seminar courses or online classes with large numbers of students; and Webex Events, which has the same basic features as Webex Meetings and supports up to 1,000 participants like Webex Training, but with functions suited to hosting online events, allowing you to talk through the program and stream to Facebook Live.
This is only a portion of the programs used for video conferencing; there are many others to choose from. Which video conference program to use depends on the needs of each organization or department. But don't forget the importance of the video conferencing equipment as well, such as microphones and amplified speakers, or a video conference camera, because this equipment helps deliver good picture and sound quality, keeping the meeting flowing smoothly without interruption. Moreover, when picture and sound quality are good, it also helps ease the mood of the meeting and make it feel more relaxed.
