Audio and Video Equipment Used in Meeting Rooms
A roundup of the audio and video equipment used in seminar and meeting rooms, covering what is most commonly used and how to choose the right equipment for the job.

Today we will talk about the audio and video equipment used in seminar and meeting rooms, and what is most commonly used.
Audio Equipment Used in Meeting Rooms
Microphones. In a meeting room, the microphone is essential for holding meetings, giving talks, and presenting. Microphones come in many forms depending on the use. For example, if you need to stand or walk to reach your audience while presenting, you should use a wireless microphone so that you can move around conveniently without a cable getting in the way.
Speakers. Of course, when we talk about sound we need speakers. We must choose speakers suited to the use, and we also need to consider the size of the space so that the sound covers the whole room and can be heard everywhere. Speakers come in both Active and Passive types.
The audio mixer has multiple input channels depending on your inputs, or sound sources. For example, if you use 8 microphones in a meeting room, you should choose a mixer with 8 or 16 channels to accommodate any future additions.
Video Equipment Used in Meeting Rooms
The projector. When choosing a projector, you have to consider the surrounding factors to decide which model suits your meeting room. For example, if the meeting room has fairly high ambient light, you will need a projector with high brightness, but for a room where light can be controlled you may use a projector that is not so bright. Most projectors used in small auditoriums are chosen with a brightness of 4,000 lumens or more, and the projector you choose must also match the aspect ratio.
The projection screen. Projection screens come in two types: the manual pull-down wall screen and the motorized screen, which support aspect ratios of 4:3, 16:9, and 16:10.
You also have to consider the size of the room and the intended use, such as how many units are needed and whether any additional equipment is required. For example, a room measuring 5×10 meters would typically use audio and video equipment to make meetings more effective, and if that room is used for meetings to wrap up work or plan projects where opinions need to be shared, conference microphones should be used, with the number depending on the participants. Once we know how a room will be used, we can select equipment that is appropriately suited to that use.
